Laughing Fox Productions has more stories than a beetle has slippers!
We believe that stories are important. Each of our shows feature lots of child friendly jokes, silliness and funny rhymes.
We have two fully staged shows that we tour to theatres and festivals, each featuring a selection of stories. Some stories are longer at 45 minutes to 1 hour some run at 10/20/30 mins.
We love going to festivals because you can walk around shouting, show off and you don’t have to wash!
In each Foxtales Story Hans The Storyteller and his pet fox Reynard amuse themselves by telling stories. Here are some of our favourite ones to perform.
When a boy called Simple is kind to a goblin he is gifted a magical golden Goose which is golder than gold.
Simple’s brother Septic has a Tantrum and his father makes 84 sandwiches.
Hamlin is the Rattiest place in the entire world and when a strange man with a long nose and bright blue eyes like sapphires turns up with a magic flute, The Mayor makes an ill fated promise.
When an owl flies into a barn, the incredibly stupid villagers think it is a monster.
So they call for Big Brave Bald Bob The Brilliant to slay the imaginary beast.
Hans has a Lump of Gold and swaps it for several different things until he is left with a very valuable potato!
A rude princess marries a man she believes is stupid and has a beard like old string.
Slowly she comes to realise that appearances aren’t always to be believed.
A lucky boy is born and is sent on a quest to retrieve three golden biscuits from on top of the devils head.
Little Red Riding Hood is plagued by the antics of a silly little wolf.
When a group of Animals decide to form a folk band their playing disturbs a house of robbers.
A poor girl has to turn straw into gold. She gets some magical help from a strange little man.
But it comes at a cost.
When A Lion decides to help a mouse he thinks the favour will never be returned.
But he soon learns that friends come in all shapes and sizes.
In Each Willomenia Worry Witch Story, Willomenia and Aesop her pet cat use traditional storytelling to learn more about how to handle their worries.
A young girl is given a magical porridge pot but soon the whole village is covered in porridge.
How will she cope with this worrisome situation?
