Making Shadow Puppets
Children are taught how to make moveable shadow puppets and how the light and angle of the created puppets affects the performance.
The workshop teaches skills in using tools, fine motor skills, lighting, shape and lighting effects.
Making Finger Puppets
Children are assisted to make their own finger puppets from their own design.
This workshop teaches children how to pattern materials, construction from simple shapes, fine motor skills and tooling skills.
Making Hand Puppets
Children learn how to use papier mache to build a puppet head and hands then to pattern and sew a body for their character.
This workshop teaches children how to pattern materials, construction from simple shapes, fine motor skills, sewing, patience and using mixed mediums.
